MAN Energy Solutions gets a new Danish headquarters with the help of PLH Arkitekter

MAN Energy Solutions, one of the world's leading companies within the development of maritime industry technology, will get a headquarters spanning more than 56,000 square meters. With great expertise in designing modern workplaces as well as production and development facilities, PLH Arkitekter is involved as a sub-consultant.

Starting in 2026, MAN Energy Solutions will begin moving from Teglholmen in Copenhagen to Trekroner near Roskilde, where the new headquarters, along with associated production facilities, warehouses, and engine test facilities, will be built.

NIRAS is the main client consultant for the project in collaboration with Opland Landskab and PLH Arkitekter as client sub-construction consultants.

"This is a large and ambitious project, and we are very happy to contribute with our extensive knowledge of programming and developing this type of project, so that MAN Energy Solutions will have a state-of-the-art campus that can bring together employees, knowledge, and production," says Claus Johannessen, senior project manager at PLH Arkitekter.

MAN Energy Solutions' new headquarters will be located in an area that currently supplies gravel to the construction industry. In connection with the construction of the new facilities, contributions will be made to a regenerative transformation of nature and landscape, as well as regenerative activities created for the benefit of the local area and the approximately 1,500 employees.

According to the plan, the first phase of the new headquarters will be ready for occupancy by the end of 2026, while the entire project is expected to be completed by the beginning of 2029.
