In their words
Carl Gustav Scavenius, owner, Klintholm GodsWe chose PLH because they have demonstrated on several occasions in Møn that they understand the delicate interplay between buildings and nature, preserving the sense of arriving at a truly special place where people want to stay and experience. We believe PLH has done an excellent job with the Hunosøgaard project, creating a building that is both modern and beautifully integrated into the natural surroundings.

Summary
Crafting an authentic connection to nature
PLH transformed the historic Hunosøgaard manor into an intimate retreat, blending natural aesthetics with modern amenities. The vision was to create a hotel and restaurant that respects the unique setting of Møn while fostering sustainable tourism.
Honoring place and history
Drawing inspiration from Danish rural architecture, Villa Huno incorporates natural materials such as larch wood facades and sedum roofs. The design ensures the hotel becomes a natural extension of the environment, enhancing the sense of place and reflecting the values of Klintholm Gods.
A base for exploration and reflection
The boutique hotel offers eight stylish rooms, each with panoramic windows, terraces, or balconies for uninterrupted lake views. A gourmet restaurant complements the experience, emphasising regional cuisine and seasonal ingredients. Our architectural concept is understated yet modern, providing a calming, nature-focused sanctuary.

Recognition
Villa Huno was named Møn’s Building of the Year by the Association for Building and Landscape Culture, praised for its integration into the unique surroundings and its ability to stand out as a modern, well-proportioned structure.
