This building on Islands Brygge, which formerly housed the power plant for the DS-Industries’ factory complex, has been converted into a modern, functional framework for the Danish Medicines Agency’s activities.

The building accommodates a laboratory unit, archives and administrative functions. The complex consists of earlier red brick buildings, with new additions in black pre-treated copper and glass. The refurbishment focused on preserving as many design elements of the early industrial buildings as possible, which is illustrated by the concrete silo fittings and the roof construction in steel.
