PLH has upgraded the customer areas and shared facilities in TDC's headquarters in Sydhavnen, Copenhagen to reflect their strong brand and business within the telecommunications sector.

The commission began with a catalogue of ideas that was subsequently developed into a design manual for translating TDC’s brand, values and visual identity to specific destinations of the buildings. The combined upgrades unify and link the ‘public’ ground floor level, which spans diverse building types, thus strengthening the visitor’s experience of the organization.

The brand translation process involved interviews with the project team and the Marketing and Communications departments of TDC. From these interviews, a visual inspection of the buildings and a review of the communication platform of TDC, PLH gained a deeper understanding of the profile, strategies and visual identity of the organisation. This understanding is reflected in the final design concept and translated into the physical environment.
