The former town hall of Vilnius at Gedimino 9 is a characteristic building of classical proportions, with baroque facade ornamentation. The site’s unique atmosphere and historic expression are preserved in the transformation to an exclusive shopping centre. The design process began with architectural, historical and archaeological research, and was focused on achieving a balance between the old and the new.
