Summary

Wish to be forward-thinking, but true to their roots

Bech-Bruun wanted its HQ to reflect a modern, forward-thinking law firm, while staying connected to its long history in the industry.

Going beyond the ways of a classic law office

Companies increasingly innovate to meet the needs of their employees, but the law industry has remained largely traditional. To remain an attractive workplace, also for the next generation of lawyers, Bech-Bruun and PLH realised that we need to rethink the law office as a place that offers diverse spaces for its employees to focus, collaborate, and socialise.

A workplace that reflects a modern law firm

The new Bech-Bruun universe caters to both individual work and collaboration with colleagues and guests. The design provides flexibility and functionality, and scattered functions throughout the building encourage spontaneous interactions between colleagues. Design elements, such as colours, serve as subtle wayfinding elements aiding in navigating the circular office.

Aesthetically, the company identity is captured in a modern-yet-timeless style that also incorporates elements that reference the building’s circular shape and maritime surroundings. On the upper floors, client facilities offer an extraordinary experience with a view over Copenhagen.

The new BB universe offers a unique and innovative law environment full of beautiful materials and references to the surroundings. We’re really proud to have created this workplace in close collaboration with the client.
