In todays version of the danish newspaper Politiken architectural editor, Karsen Ifversen, gives his review on the renovation of Amager Shoppingcenter, which PLH Arkitekter has designed.

The review is positive and gives four hearts for the succesfull renovation of a rather peculiar center, as the editor descripes it.

Amager Centret reopened in September after a long period of renovation. The purpose of rethinking the design of the center was to create a local spot with a open, green and cosy atmosphere. Another central aspect of the renovation has been to ensure the history of the center and especially to find ways to show the centers past function as a robe fabric.
