As PLH grows, its partner group expands

PLH Arkitekter is growing rapidly, having increased its number of staff with more than 20 percent over the last year. Now the group of partners expands as well with the addition of Studio Manager Kirsten Herup Søvang.

“I started at PLH in 2013 and have since witnessed the amazing journey our studio has undertaken. Now, as a partner, I am excited to contribute to our growth and help us consolidate our position as one of Denmark’s leading, independent architectural firms, while constantly strengthening our expertise when it comes to office construction, workplace design, life science and residential buildings,” says Kirsten Herup Søvang.

Søren Mølbak, CEO and partner at PLH Arkitekter, sees the addition of Kirsten Herup Søvang as an expression of one of PLH’s greatest strengths:

“As an independent studio, PLH is a committed, professional community, driven by people – not rigid systems and big, heavy bureaucracies. Our clients come to us because we can provide them with that personal, hands on approach, which ensures a smooth and flexible process no matter the project. With her unrivaled skill set and strong professionalism, Kirsten is a perfect exponent for that way of doing things,” says Søren Mølbak.

Kirsten Herup Søvang is an Architect MAA, graduated from the Royal Danish Academy in 2007 and specializes in pharma life science.

PLH Arkitekter was founded in 1977 and now has more than 100 employees. Besides Kirsten Herup Søvang, the group of partners consists of Søren Mølbak (CEO, Partner and Owner, Architect MAA), Ole Jonsson (Partner and Owner, Architect MAA), Paulette Christophersen (Partner and Owner, Interior Designer, MDIA MDD) and Lars Toksvig (Partner and Owner, Architect MAA).

To celebrate Kirsten Herup Søvang’s partnership, a reception will be held October 8 from 2 PM, where employees, clients and collaborators are welcome. The reception takes place at PLH Arkitekter, Vermundsgade 38K, 2100 Copenhagen.
