In a team with COWI and Atelier Lorentzen Langkilde PLH is proud to have been chosen to participate in the competition for a new town hall building in Høje Taastrup. The new town hall building will be situated between the shopping centre of City2 and Høje Taastrup station. The new town hall building is planned to kick start the ambitious development of the area around City2 in the central part of Høje Tastrup – a development to create a new and more vibrant district in order to attract new residents and companies.

"We need to create a more life in the area between the shopping centre City 2 and the station Høje Taastrup Station. A lot of people and new companies have to move to the area. It will create new life i a part of the city which for many years has been very quiet and almost deserted at night. In the future this will be an attractive place to live, work, shop and run a business.”

In a team with COWI and Atelier Lorentzen Langkilde PLH Arkitekter has been chosen to participate in the competition of a new town hall building in Høje Taastrup C. The new town hall will be located between City2 and Høje Taastrup station – and is to kickstart an ambitious development of the area around City 2 in the central part of the city of Høje-Taastrup. A development that is to create a new and more lively district to attract new residents and companies.

'The town hall of the future'

The new town hall, located centrally in the new district, is to be a 'town hall of the future’ – a living multifunctional house that is open, flexible and accessible for the residents of the city, collaborators and employees. After office hours the town hall is to be available and open for different activities in order to activate the new district.

The Municipality of Høje Taastrup received a total of 22 applications to participate in the competition.
